What is Group Protection?
Group insurance is coverage issued to a group of members as part of an employee benefits package, rather than insurance you purchase on your own. You may be familiar with health, dental, vision, or other insurance types. Benefit is paid to the employer, who then passes it on to the employee through payroll. Financial support kicks in after a waiting period, known as the deferred period.
